Syrup Waffle Cookies Serving Suggestions
- Right out of the package - this is the easiest way to enjoy Stroopwaffels. We find that once the package is open, these cookies disappear fast!
- A Winter Warm Up - a gentle warming can really bring out the flavour of the syrup. You can microwave the cookies arranged on a plate for 10 - 15 seconds or use the more traditional method of balancing on top of your hot cocoa or coffee cup and let the heat of your drink warm the syrup.
- A Summertime treat - make ice cream sandwiches! Use two syrup waffle cookies, spread softened ice cream on one cookie and top with the other. Place in your freezer until ice cream is firm and enjoy!
- Decorate your desserts - Serve custard, ice cream or pudding with a wedge of Stroopwaffel. On a flat surface, cut a syrup waffle cookies in to quarters with a sharp straight edged knife. Tuck one syrup waffle cookie triangle into each bowl. Delicious!
